A GANG OF BIKES more fun than a BARREL OF MONKEYS

We left Thursday night and went to pagosa springs The next morning we prepared to wind down the back roads through the mountains to Taos NM what a motley crew

After arriving in Taos we made a loop up into the mountains through Red River and bake to Taos. The picture below was taken in Red River

The Scenery was wonderful and the ride was a blast

The next day we looped another direction out of Taos and went to Angle fire and visited the Vietnam veterans Memorial. That was a special part of our trip i have a great respect for our veterans we owe them so much.

Then it was off again through the bake roads, Hear we found a great place to spend the night but it was early so we moved on

Next we stoped at Fort Union NM. I did not know that the civil war got this far west, i should have listened better in school. The picture below is the ruins of the hospital.

Here we are standing in front of the jail,an appropriate place for this crew

Next we headed for Santa fe this is a veterans memorial cemetery their, we drove through the streets of Old Santa fe and ate at a place called The Whole Hog talk about yummie

The next day we went up through Los Alamos and over the mountain to Cuba, then Bloomfield and back to Durango and home
